I am a strong believer in the need for personalized health care for women experiencing menopause related concerns. I am one of a growing number of international healthcare professionals who have been trained and certified in Menopause Type Management. The latest findings of Woman's Health Initiative confirm that we will never find a quick-and-easy or one-size-fits-all answer to the needs that menopause presents. Once a woman's menopause type is identified, I develop a safe and natural customized plan, including diet adjustments, herbal supplements and lifestyle enhancements. This can have significant results without the use of drugs. My goal is to change the way that people think of menopause by recognizing women fall into one of twelve different menopause types. This is determined by analyzing saliva samples and utilizing questionaires. As a Holistic Nutrition Consultant, I consider each person's unique biochemical individuality.

Bio: Karen moved to California 23 years ago from Charleston, WV and her husband, Steve, from Tucson, AZ at the same time. They have lived in Santa Clarita for 6 years. Karen holds a BA from UC Irvine and earned her Master's degree from Hawthorne University in Holistic Nutrition.
